Let's just hope you stick around long enough to back up your bull ****. It wont be long before you see Gamboa get KTFO by a PR, Mexican or American an then we'll see what you have to say then.

And dont get ****** with "we fight for the love not the money crap" Then explain why all the best Cuban fighters defect? Casamayor was an excellent fighter and one of my favorites all time, but othet than him who else has Cuba produced that has even made a mark in the pro divison?

      Get educated.......

CUBAN PRIDE. Where you at bro? Mark my words, when Gamboa gets KTFO in the next year or so I'm gonna bump this thread for you.

I think you Cubans should spend time fighting for your independence and manhood and leave boxing to the free mmen of the world. catro still tells you, your daddy and his daddy what to do and how to do it. Aren't you grown men?

What BS. Cubans are GREAT amateurs, but rarely transition well to the pro ranks. There are exceptions, like Casamayor, Hurtado and Gamboa. But the list of amateur 'greats' who defected and failed at the pro ranks is long...E. Castillo, JC Gomez, Barthelemay, Julio Garcia...just to name a few. Back in the day, before Communism, they had some greats...and I mean ALL TIME greats! But now...Cepillo is the best in recent memory to come out. Savon and Stevenson may or may not have been greats in the pros...we'll never know. But those who come out now cant seem to either adopt the pro style or the discipline to stay in shape.

And all the BS about how they choose to fight for 'country' than money is crap and everyone on here knows it. They are oppressed and take what they can and defect at the first opportunity they can. It's a shame and a waste of talent because of the what's going on there, but the truth. If the island ever got back to what it was before the 60's, then I think you would see truly great fighters emerge.

Even with the good fighters in the pro ranks now, there remains to be seen how truly great they will be. Casamayor is a HOF, imo. Gamboa is on the fast track and looks like the real deal, but it's still early. As is the case with Solis. I have my eye on Richard Abril, a lightweight in miami who reminds me a bit of Arguello (in his height and style); he's developing his power, though his record is marred by a draw to a fighter with a 3-2 record.

You cant possibly be in Cuba, you know english too well.

Do the cuban people chose or does Fidel chose for them. Cubans are good amateurs and average pros, they would't dominate ****.

Except he thinks that Hialeah, FL is Cuba. Then again, he may be right.
