Because the only reason they are profesionals is because they had to defect, because in Cuba you can't leave the country freely, so they decide to have patriotism out of their country because in their country they can't become profesionals.

I think your being harsh on Cuban Pride but the only thing he has said that's a mistake is that Cuban fight for Pride instead of for Money because I will bet anything that if Cubans could leave their country freely, most of them would be in the profesionals, and to answer to all of you that say that Cubans wouldn't dominate **** because they have had two good fighters (Casamayor and Gamboa), well the thing is that most of the really great ones are afraid to defect but when Cuba is a democracy and Cuban boxers can join the profesionals with no problem I am sure they will dominate.
