Who won DLH-Whitaker?

I just watched this ***** last night, and was actually quite entertained... at least it entertained me more than Hamed-Kelley. I like these kind of high-paced chessmatches.

Anyway, this fight really was hell to score, which is okay for me, because I don't score.

BUT, I do want to know what the general mood on this fight was. Volume vs. power. You decide!

I can't really decide, I scored it once a draw, once for Whitaker and once for DLH.

Just for the old past his prime Whitaker to make it so competitive and hard to score and not have a clear winner.....he is the winner in my book.

He sealed his legacy with that one on top of the other things he has accomplished in his career. While record/resume wise there are plenty of better fighters....he put his skills right up there with the All-time greats with that loss alone.

Last time I scored it, I scored it for Whitaker closely. I believe he landed more punches at a higher rate and he was able to drop an off-balance Oscar late in that fight.

Tough fight to score, but Oscar hardly landed anything of note against a faded Whitaker. I gave Pea the nod.

Whenever this fight gets mentioned, Oscar gets hated on, dont get it.
He went up from 140 to 147, and instead of tune ups, he went right after the Man at WW in his first fight at that weight.

I thought the knockdown made the difference. I thought Sweat Pea was cheated in that fight as well as the 1st Chavez fight.
