I tell it like it is. And Pavlik got pictures with Rubio at his Lockett post fight press conference. It was unprofessional and poor management, and signalled to me as i do have a brain, that the fight was already set in stone.

Im not anti pavlik. i tell the truth. Your 202 posts have had your lips on Pavliks balls!

Another post where you totally dodge every point I made. Way to look even dumber.

      I agree.

The only reason they're calling him out is because Arum knows Calzaghe has the Jones option and is unlikely to fight Pavlik for less money. Arum wants Pavlik's name to build so obviously he's going to call out Calzaghe, every fighter does it.

And for everyone to jump on Calzaghe and put him down like they have is wrong.

        1. Kelly will fight Rubio. More cash less of a threat.
        2. While he told everyone he wants to move up to SMW. Realistically hes not going to. Hes the king of a very weak division. And SMW will bring a lot of threats and he won't be the best fighter in that division.

Until we get the full facts lets not comment. But im adament that Pavlik didn't want this fight with Calzaghe.
There is a lot of hype going around, but I would be more convinced if Calzaghe said Pavlik was his first choice and RJJ his 2nd choice. Calzaghe/RJJ is a meaningless fight, just like Calzaghe/Hopkins was a meaningless fight.

Flat wrong. Arum and Warren reached a deal on a fight. Calzaghe turned it down. Those are the facts. We have them.

Ricky... what the ****? Say something that makes sense, in the very least. For instance: Calzaghe will make more money from Jones. Don't say something that has absolutely no basis in reality

It's the truth though, Who is Kelly Pavlik? No one knows him in the UK and barely anyones knows him in the US compared to Roy Jones.

No. It's not the truth. The truth is Kelly is calling out Calzaghe because it's the biggest money fight he can make and Calzaghe is not taking the fight because he can make more money from the Jones fight. That's the truth. No one calls out a fighter hoping that the other fighter doesn't take the fight. That is ridiculous. You're like a little child who creates an alternate realities to protect your hero from any blame.

Unless, by any possible chance, in the multi-million dollar industry that is elite level boxing, the top promoters and players had perhaps graduated from schoolyard bravado to something akin to long term planning based on sophisticated public relations techniques....

That would never happen though, would it?

Does a fighter call out another fighter hoping to just boost his name (with no real expectation that the fight will come to fruition)? Absolutely. That's what you're saying, right? If it is, you're right. But in that universe, even if the fighter thinks he might lose to his money fighter he's not calling him out hoping that the money fighter will not fight him. That is what is implied by this thread and that is what is ridiculous.

I still can't believe Calzaghe is ducking Kelly. You would think at this stage of his career he would finally step up and fight the best. Instead he is showing his true colors.
