it would be different if hatton was fighting someone with the power of say kelly pavlik and got knocked out and its another when its floyd mayweather.

over the years mayweather has lost some pop on his punches but when he fought hatton he was going to bury him.

Malignaggi wont knock him out but i bet you he wobbles hatton (if he is able to effiecently use both hands during the fight).

hatton is a pretty easy fight to hit because he lacks skill/ability...he fights in that style because thats all he can do.

i guarantee you he can NOT outbox paulie...ever...if hatton didnt try to turn it into a mugging/hugfest and kept it in the center of the ring paulie would OUTCLASS him in that ring...

only way hatton "outboxes" paulie is if paulie fractures his hand in the fight and has to continue with only one hand...THEN hatton can outbox him and its not even a guarantee then.

Hatton has taken a whole ****load of punishment in his career -- to say he can't take a punch is a joke. He has been railed time and time again because of his style. Mayweather was hitting him at will from the 6th round on with some of the cleanest, sharpest punches he's thrown in 5 years. It still took him 4 rounds of a brutal beating to take Hatton down.

Hatton has never been a fighter that should go up in weight to 147 -- he should stay where he is. If Mayweather fought him there the fight would be much better.

Bro that fight had NOTHING to do with weight. If anything, Mayweather is a natural 135 lb. fighter. Ricky started out at 140. The facts are enough.

The reason why he fights the way he does (holding all the time) is because he can't take a punch. if he didn't hold he would've got beaten the same way Gatti did. The only thing Hatton was running on was hype and pride, and he's lost it. He didn't know how to back up, and now that Mayweather totally outclassed and knocked him out, he'll never be the same.

I didn't see that fight. I never said he had a ****ing chin of iron. I don't think his chin is bad though, his defense is. If he had a glass chin he would have been knocked out numerous times by now.
