There is an aliment of truth in What paulie is saying, Hatton hasnt look like he could take a punch since he went to america, He was alomst KO by collazo..He was hurt by a bodyshot against the limited Urango, we didnt get to see him in the castillo fight because castillo was beyond shot. I wouldnt put the Mayweather fight in there because he is below Mayweather in terms of skill/class level but he was hurt again but Luzcano.

The last time he display a good chin was against tsyzu over here in england but he took Tsyzu's punches because he wrestle him everytime Tyszu try to extend his hands in throwing a punch, He try to do that against Mayweather but the ref was having None of it and thats why he got KO by a light punching Mayweather.

Yet Malignaggi can't punch for toffee and has only ever fought one decent fighter yet somehow he thinks he is going to beat Hatton
I have made the same point several times, until the Mayweather fight Hatton had only been down once before, relatively early in his career ...its shocking to think so called fans of the sport think that equates to having no chin!!

i agree. paulie is no puncher by any means (some of it is due to his hands that have been injured repeatedly in his career)...but hatton has been hurt since coming to the U.S.

its 100% true...i dont care what anyone says lazcano had him wobbling...

            Ricky can't take a punch.

            Paulie can't throw a punch.

            Problem solved.

Sure he can, he just has a **** defense and gets hit way too many times in fights. Example of this is collazo, urango, and mayweather. I thought he lost all three fights but some how he won collazo and urango???
Hang on... He lost against Urango? He lost? Against Urango? Hang on... you thought he lost against Urango? Lost round five against Urango, sure. You have a shout that he lost round five against Urango. But you're saying he lost the whole fight? Against Urango?

It's funny how some people insist that Collazo is "feather fisted" when he's rockin a KO rate of around 50% fighting at Welter and Junior Middle. They then extrapolate that because Collazo had Ricky in some brief trouble in the final round that Paul Malignaggi with his 5 KOs in 25 fights (with three of those coming at lightweight in his first three fights) is going to stop Ricky Hatton?

Furthermore you will point to Hatton's stoppage by Mayweather and repost the turnbuckle incident as though Mayweather didn't land a punch until the tenth round... From the sixth round on Mayweather was landing dozens of brutal counterpunches on Hatton and he walked through them until that moment.

I'm not sure what it is about Hatton (and I know for a fact that in the case of Doris Domochan it's simple trolling as he's admitted in the past) but people seem very willing to ignore reality when he fights. I know of no other fighter who can win 11 rounds of a title fight and still have people saying he lost (Sure he ground out an ugly victory against Urango for the final six rounds but he still won every one of those rounds and was spectacular in the first half of the fight). I know of no other fighter who can beat a top-ten ranked opponent by ten rounds to two and still get grief for being slightly staggered in one of the rounds he lost. And I know of no other fighter who can soak up four brutal rounds of punishment against the best fighter in the world and be accused of packing glass because he lost by TKO.

Sure, Malignaggi might stop Hatton. This is boxing, it could happen, Hatton may walk into a big punch, Paulie may manage to open a cut, but let's face it, if Hatton does get stopped by Paul "Hands of Stone" Malignaggi let's not pretend it would be anything other than a major shock.

Malignaggi is a joker. He's just trying to big himself up before the fight but I highly doubt he could knock Hatton down, let alone knock him out.

We'll see when it comes to it. I'm looking forward to seeing the Hitman win.

I don't think that Paulie could knock Hatton down if he trained in judo, but like I say, never say never.

Yeah but lets face it, Hatton could replace his chin with a china teapot and Maliganggi still wouldn't have the power to hurt him!
