Bro that fight had NOTHING to do with weight. If anything, Mayweather is a natural 135 lb. fighter. Ricky started out at 140. The facts are enough.



The reason why he fights the way he does (holding all the time) is because he can't take a punch. if he didn't hold he would've got beaten the same way Gatti did. The only thing Hatton was running on was hype and pride, and he's lost it. He didn't know how to back up, and now that Mayweather totally outclassed and knocked him out, he'll never be the same.




He can take a punch? He would've died if Cortez let the fight go on any further. He was out on his feet....and then fell. He stumbled across the ring before that. But you're right, he is in for a spanking, glad you realize.

Died? Exaggerate much? Right... Almost anyone would have been hurt by that combination of left hook and eating the ring post so that doesn't prove to me that he can't take a punch.

Like this matters anyway in regards to this fight. Paulie IS NOT knocking Hatton out with his feather punches.

cortez didnt allow it in the mayweather fight and look what happened? he got owned by floyd AND the ringpost on top of it.

hatton gets off his punches and hugs...(so you cant hit back at full power)...

Totally agree, He normally smother his opponents work which mean they couldnt extend their hand to get real power behind their punches, He wasnt allow to hug/cling in the Mayweather fight that why he got KO.

Even in the tsyzu fight hatton took his punches because he didnt allow tsyzu any space to get full power on his shot.

As i have said time and time again, Paulie will beat Hatton by UD. I dont see Paulie stopping Hatton though. Either way will be a great fight and i think we will see the best yet from Paulie, i know the fight isn't done just yet but it will be. I wanna sooo get a ticket for this.

The guy clinches more than Hatton and does **** all in them, meanwhile in the clinches Hatton is going to breaking Malignaggi in half.

only way hatton "outboxes" paulie is if paulie fractures his hand in the fight and has to continue with only one hand...THEN hatton can outbox him and its not even a guarantee then.

Yeah cotto broke paulie's jaw but hatton wont do the same. and even so cotto couldnt make paulie quit with a broken jaw...so i doubt hatton knocks him out...paulie has a REAL good chin...

The broken hand is a built in excuse. Nothing more . I can barely believe that he hits hard enough to break his hand. Hatton will not have to break Paulies jaw to stop him. He will go to the body. Don't even discrace the pretty boy by mentioning Paulie Mallignaggi in the same sentence. He has nowhere near the boxing skill, ring smarts, reflexes, speed, power, foot and head movement, and has been beaten by the only A level fighter he has ever faced. Hatton on the other hand put up a good effort for 7 rounds against the retired P4P best in boxing and has fought and won 6 out of 7 title fights in the last few years against A level fighters. How do you expect Paulie, who was almost beaten in every title fight he has ever been in to cope with the Hitman for 12 rounds with no power to deter him? He will get the same result if not worse than he had in the Cotto fight, gauranteed. I mean really. Who is Herman N'goudjo and who is lovemore N'dou anyways? They have beat nobody of note at all and almost toppled Paulie. What does that tell you?

hattons a shot fighter and it would not mystify me to see hatton get knocked out. if cotto couldn't knock out malignaggi hatton has no chance of stopping paulie. paulie will win by decision if hatton can last that long
