Right now it has to go to pea but PBF is still only 31.
If he comes back from a 2 year layoff and beats a prime Cotto then we have to readjust Floyds place in history

That just makes me realise you haven't watched any Whitaker. When Whitaker wanted to **** he was just as good as Floyd and had a very underrated offensive arsenal. Saying that though, neither Mayweather or Whitaker were offensive beasts but Whitaker was very, very good. To say he didn't have the full package is highly ignorant. Especially if you're going to say Whitaker didn't but Mayweather does. Whitaker was actually a way more offensive fighter over the course of his career than Mayweather has ever been!

chavez-whitaker on paper will always be a draw even though most had whitaker winning including me, mayweather beat castillo twice.

What is Azumah Nelson's best win again?
You serious man? You don't know who Nelson is? He was an absolute beast! The original 'Professor' who took a lot of great fighters to school. Brilliant boxer who could really fight hard as well. Fought everyone in his time though Fenech was horribly robbed in their first fight. Nelson was great! Ten times the fighter of anyone on Mayweathers resume.

It's a scary thought - and sad - that people post on these boards who have no idea who Azumah Nelson is or have never seen him fight. I knew something was up when people started arguing Ricky Hatton was a better fighter than Buddy McGirt and then were favorably comparing Jose Luis Castillo to Julio Cesar Chavez.

Whitaker no doubt, he was a way more exiting fighter than Mayweather and he wasn't afraid of fighting the best. He beat much better opposition and he fought all the big names.

There is nothing great about McGirt, sure he was a good fighter, but that's it.

As for Nelson, I've seen only one of his fights, but you have to look at it this way, I wasn't even 10 when he fought for the last time, and during his prime I was around 6 years old. I can't possibly go back and watch every single of every single good fighter back in the day, and at the end of it all, a 130 pound fighter isn't revolutionary by any means.

I used to respect your opinions, but that is flat out wack. I guess when your favorite fighters are Whitaker and Cotto you got a lot of reason to hate Floyd though.
