EVERYONE did NOT hate Ali.. that's why he was on tv program after tv program, doing wrestling, selling out stadiums, making big fights in Manila and Africa.. etc.

I think what he means is that after two weeks.. people are moving on and it hasn't effected them much. I know it hasn't effected me much.. I'm actually happy he is gone!

How are you going to argue with him fighting Hatton and Oscar??
We saw Paul Williams get whipped by Quintiana (I know he redeemed himself) and Marg and Cotto are as overrated as ever.
Honestly people talk about hoe great the WW division is when in reality, its a bunch of fighters who havent fought each other to prove how weak the division really is.
Floyd would have no problem with anyone in the division and made 2 of the biggest fights this century and dominated his opponents.
Please, I know you want to **** Miguel Cotto but by no means does that mean he would beat or challenge Floyd.

Floyd has more media prevelance than any other fighter today, sells out fights and has excellent PPV numbers.

he is disliked by nearly all media pundits and not just media pundits but ex Proffesional fighters and general Boxing fans

if anybody thinks he is gonna be more appreciated when he is gone they are wrong ,he is the worst example of an Elite fighter the sport has ever known mainly because he messes with traditons of the sport and that does not only get up fans noses it gets up Boxing historians Noses that this great sport can be devalued by someone who is supposed to be the figure head for the sport

do u think he is the most hated Figure Boxing has ever produced ? Ali did what he did but Ali never devalued the sport he enhanced it if anything with his showman ship and heart and his willingness to face the best fighters
He is hated because the lil punk is an insult to the senses and good decency.

He calls himself the best yet he DOESN'T WANT TO FIGHT THE BEST.

He calls himself money yet he only got the money by FIGHTING NAMES OPPONENTS WHICH HAS HUGE FAN BASES LIKE HATTON and DLH.

He calls himself p4p yet he has DUCKED EVERY ELITE OF EVERY DIVISION HE JUMPS INTO WHILST TAKING ON THE WEAKEST.

                  And WORST ****ING OF ALL.

He calls himself BETTER THAN ROBINSON. What a ****ing ****** Gayweather is. Yet he *****-retires instead of taking on top welters.

ONLY COWARDS can ever admire Gayweather.

                    Was.
Thankfully he is very respected and loved by many now. But I do agree, if there was any fighter that had to go trough as much hate for a fight it would probably be Jack Johnson.

I can't really see 1 fighter stand out that has been hated when he was active, and after he retired.
