Yes he does mate. Hes financially secure enough to retire wealthy from the sport now. He wants glory though.

Against AA? Offer big money? Well its not so much the offering big money bit. He will most likely take little money, probably around 100 or 200 K. Just for the fight. If Choc runs his mouth like he normally does, the fight will generate AA more than any other fight has for him in his career.

Lets hope he beats Miranda.

I just have trouble seeing Choc taking little money to make the fight happen, as he obviously thinks quite highly of himself and might have trouble swallowing his pride. If he did however, it would go a long way in redeeming the absence of quality opposition in his resume.

I mean you obviously know nothing about Mundine. In fact you have probably seen 1 fight of his im guessing, or a 4 minute highlight clip against Ottke? Which was 6 years ago? Pretty much the same time when Floyd wasn't known.

Mundine is like you, all ****ing talk. The reason people haven't seen Mundine is because he is in one meaningless fight after another. You really have your head far up his ass. Not like that is news to anyone here.

And also I hope the tune up is not Taylor!!! But in saying that Taylor although half the fighter he was is a well established journeyman if nothing else...and choc doe's need a tune up at MW...but at what expense?? I heard Taylor was wanting ****en 250K at least to fight Mundine!!! Christ he wouldint have got that for fighting Sugar Shane lol!!!
I will give him this tune up and then thats it he had better step up or im through with it!!! he needs someone good for gods sake...he's got more cash than most fighters out there today...find a name and take the gamble...pay him and do his best to win!!!!

Yeh Taylor wants 250 but Mundine is prepared to give him around 150. Im not to sure whether the fight will eventuate i haven't heard any news about it for a week or so.

I think Choc wants to sign a big fight, so he can announce it aswell as his other tune up fight on the 30th of July.

Im not to sure with like the latest developments of the past day or so or anything like that. But i know the most realistic overseas fight is Abraham.

Mundine continues to damage his rep

If in Mundine’s sole aim to make loads of cash then he is right on track.
But he must realise that from the true fans of the sport he will never get any respect while he continues to beat up fighters who plainly have no business being in the ring with him.

If you look back at his previous opponents with the exception of Ottke (L), Kessler (L) Green, Soliman (fist fight only due to Soliman’s much greater experience than Choc at the time) and Antwun Echols who even though he was passed his prime and was coming of a years layoff after recently been shot at least had a reputation as a puncher and a solid record against good opposition.

The rest of his 35 fights have been against guys who have little KO power and are slower than Mundine therefore no risk. Nader Hamden a very solid but not world class fighter and past his prime or what about the former world champ Lester Ellis he fought who held the belt as a super feather weight for gods sake. And most of the others have been ordinary at best!

Mundine tells us all the time he is a two time world champ but does not mention that on both occasions there has been a super champion (don’t get me stated on that ridicules idea) Ottke and Joe C at that time so the fact is he has never been the number 1 only number 2 behind the true champion of the division.

If Mundine wants to get any respect he should fight Kessler and avenge the loss it’s a load of BS the line “the public doesn’t want to see it” that has come from his own mouth.

Make no mistake Mundine is a very naturally gifted fighter just a shame he wastes those talents fighting the guys he does.

And further more why should one of the big names at MW give him a crack straight up lets see if he likes to get treated the same way he treats others.
When was the last time Mundine fought a mandatory?

They should make him wait till he gets a rep overseas and it is worth there while to fight him and then do it only on there terms.
