Agreed, Kessler IS a very solid 168 and it wouldn't be a walk in the park for pavlik or anyone else for that matter. He has power, speed and pretty good boxing ability. While I have Pavlik on a pretty high position all around, I consider him to be one dimensional and I still have not seen him fight someone who can and will box him. 11 112 combinations won't work against kessler.

Anyways I want to see Kessler have a decent fight before going in to such a big fight

Pavlik can do 11 112 combinations, jesus I didn't realise this, his right arm must be farked.

All seriousness I agree, I think Taylor boxed Kelly nicely, but Kessler would be hitting harder more than anything, and is virtually equally intimidating. Favor Kelly KO against Hops, Kessler UD.

Great fight. This should happen. Unfortunately for Pavlik, Kessler is just a little bit bigger and better at everything he is. Great fight though.

When is Kessler fighting this Sartisan chap? Will be interesting to see how he reacts to defeat. Calzaghe might not knock people out these days but he doesn't half tend to ruin their confidence.

Can't wait to see Kessler back in the ring again, I became a fan after watching him at the Millenium Stadium.

I hope you get to see it.

Will it be shown in GB?

I assume it'll be on download - not staying in on a Saturday night to watch it!

Totally forgot about this. He will be around for a while in 168. In the Calzaghe fight he was doing real good until Joe got on his toes and boxed like I've never saw him before. It was when his dad told him:"OK, it's time to shine!". That was priceless. Then Kessler didn't know what to do. It was inexperience. I would put my money on Kessler vs Pavlik depending on how he looks this weekend. Again no hate or disrespect towards Pavlik, I really like him but he wouldn't have done any different vs calzaghe at 168.

I would like to see Kessler-Taylor. I think that would show how would a kessler-Pavlik would look.

Kessler would beat Pavlik at SMW and as that is the weight class that the fight would happen at then I'd go for a dominating Kessler win. Pavlik has fought Taylor twice but apart from that he hasn't fought anybody.

Joe is right not to fight him as he isnt a big enough name yet and it would be a total dismantling of Pavlik by Calzaghe, similar to the Lacy fight!
                      Calzaghe is invincible!
Kessler to dominate SMW for next few yars!
