You're being very delusional if you really think Vitali is going to be the same fighter he was years ago...Without any tune ups and history of injuries..Whats makes you think he is going to beat Peter...I'm far from a Peter fan but you have to be out of you mind if you think this is going to be a walk in the park for Vitali
... I willing to put some points that Peter beats Vitali.

My last post was mostly tongue in cheek, but in response to your assumption (about my being delusional), no, I'm not. I do think Vitali will beat Peter, but that's not got as much to do with Vitali as it does with Peter. Vitali has a great chin, and while I expect him to catch a few shots, I don't think he'll go down. He's caught shots from harder punchers, flush (Sanders was one of the hardest hitters I've ever seen), and didn't hit the canvas, I don't expect him to against Peter, either. Also, Peter is actually kind of a short heavy....he's what....6'0"? Maybe 6'1"? He's about 6" shorter, is hittable, and a left hook hurts him bad....I just think he's going to get caught with one of those nasty left hook/jab/uppercuts from Vitali (remember Danny Williams chicken dance? Caused by a punch that didn't travel 6"), get hurt, and Klitchko will finish him off. This guy (Klitchko) has only had a single win that wasn't a KO. And one thing you can be certain of, he will be in shape, ring-rust or no. One thing you can be sure of about Peter is that he won't be in shape, and will be gassed by the 6th round. I honestly just don't see how Peter can win, short of a KO, and he ain't got the **** in his drawers to KO Vitali.

Vitali isn't as skilled as Wlad but I always thought he was better in the ring. Hard to explain, but he always jumped in at the right time to finish. Stepped back to not get hit in exchanges. He just fought very intelligently. He used his height amazingly. His straight right is narley and his KO percentage high for his finishing ability and intelligence.
Vitali gets a shot at the title because he is a Champion Emeritus by the WBC, a status that enables him, in case of a comeback, to challenge the current WBC-World Champion right away. For the one person who commented.
Doubt Peter wins a Vitali that is 3/4 as talented as he once was.Comment
