vitali is not as skilled as wlad but he has a better chin and way tougher. great attributes for a heavy.

wlad has regressed under steward. the only thing steward taught him is how to clinch and to save his energy. wlad was much better offensively before steward. steward is not a good trainer anymore imo.
Peter was in excellent shape against Wlad and he weighed 243 pounds that fight and that was 3 years ago when he was just 25 years old. So i pretty much doubt he could go down to 230 pounds!

But seriously, i take Peter to beat Vitali if they fight! Vitali will not be at his best after the long layoff! And i think he was never better than Wladimir is today. Hes more exciting and has more heart but Wlad is far more skilled, faster and has more one punh power. He has improved verry much since hes with Steward.
Absolutly right. Wladimir has much improved with Emanuel Steward. Vitali was never better than Wladimir today. And i hope - as a Klitschko-Fan- Vitali stay retired.

A little surprised by Klitschko not having a tune up, but will still beat peter!

No....I think he's regressed under Steward. What he HAS learned is a little "ringcraft", like making sure not to leave himself open after a missed punch, therefore needing to punch at about 60% instead of a full-blown wallop. Also, that when he misses, or when his opponent attacks, to close in and d**** himself all over the other guy, allowing his weight to wear him down. Other than those , he isn't nearly as good as he was. Just my opinion.

Peter is on a roll right now, and stylistically he is more likely to win this one; Vitali stands straight up, his chin is in the air and Peter is gonna use him as a heavy bag, I guarantee it
            You've made 4-5 mistaken comments.

            1) Jeremy Williams has about the worst chin in boxing and could be KO'd by a welterweight.

            2) Peter doesn't "hit like a mule"; all his KO's were against cripples or poor "chinnies" like Williams and Maskaev.

            3) He hasn't a chin "like granite". Klitschko in the 12th rd with a very average left hook nearly floored him, and McCline-an average puncher- showed his chin weakness in their fight by flooring him 3 times. The ref could easily have stopped that fight.

            4) The only "roll" that Peter is "on", is the one around his barrel shaped belly.

            5) Yes, Klitschko does stand "straight up" therefore, at 6'8", and leaning back as needed, he'll be out of range to a stubby 6' fire-hydrant-shaped swinging fighter like Peter.

AND..........Lest we forget, until he retired, Klitschko had BY FAR, the best Heavyweight KO record EVER, with only ONE of his 35 wins going the distance. Meaning, for the uninitiated, that he had 34 KO's in 35 wins.

And ANOTHER reminder....Klitschko is one of the most accurate punchers in the business, from ALL angles.

And he sees IMMEDIATELY when his opponent is in trouble, and overwhelms him.
Alternately, he can stay back, and take his opportunities as they arise.

The ONLY problem I see is that of ring-rust.....and it's a big one.

              Yes....Maybe....but most taller fighters don't have 34 KO's in 35 wins.

It's ok to be older than me, I suppose, just hope you don't feel older. That old saying, "If I'd known I was gonna live this long I'd have taken better care of myself" is really starting to become a curse for me.

Oh yes indeed ! I often feel like the perfect light-heavyweight- that is...."light in the head and heavy on the feet", AND, when in a restaurant with friends, and the bill is "up for grabs", -"slow with the hands".

This is an adaptation of that old one, "he gets an attack of long pockets and short arms".

With Vitali out of the ring for 4 years and no tune up fights I give him almost no chance of beating Peter. This doesn't mean that he couldn't have beaten him 5 years ago perhaps but inactive and rusty and injury prone? Nope.
