Floyd and Cotto was NEVER close to becoming reality! but Arum and Warren was so close to makin Calz vs Pavlik until Calz chose to go after "Grey" Jones! If Floyd had been at the tables with Cotto's people then decided to take DLH, thats called being a COWARD not a business man! but Mr. Arum and Floyd NEVER had one conversation regarding he fighting Cotto! Like I ****in said before, if Floyd would not have fought the Cotto-Tony winner after DLH then his ass would've been gone!! it is what it is!

Calzaghe was just weighing up his options, of course he was going to mention Pavlik. They never went into negotiations though, only talks between Arum and Warren (without Calzaghe's permission). Floyd Mayweather ****s himself every time Miguel Cotto's name is mentioned.

I would have fancied joe to beat pavlik in 06. Around the time he beat Lacy. Hes got old over night mayb?e, i could'nt imagine calzaghe ducking him either back then.

Its either a smart move by joe, or he just wants to fight roy jones first. Coz if theres a chance of him loosing to pavlik he wont be able to fight jones after that will he.

He could fight jones for the money, get £20million in the bank...... then see how it goes after the hopkins disaster then if hes feeling sharp, and in shape still he'll fight pavlik.

Yes, Calzaghe has several fight offers on the table for once, and he most likely chooses the one he always said was his first preference, and he's ducking the other. LOL. Grow up cynics.
