Joe is ****in wack!!! why didnt he fight Roy when Roy was in his prime, or even B Hop in his prime. He waits until they are over the hill and a sheel of their former selves, then he wants to fight him, and get the recognition as if they were in their prime. Joe beating B Hop (which he really lost) and maybe beating a Roy of now, is a crock of ****. In his prime Roy Ko in 5. Now MAYBE Roy by DC.

There's a large Calzaghe hater contingent (most are trolls though) here that will criticize Joe no matter what he does and always make an excuse after every win even thought they pick every fighter to beat him.

I like Pavlik and think he's got a bright future and I think Joe will fight him and Jones before he retires.

I'm pretty sure Lockett was his mandatory. Besides, before that he fought Miranda, Taylor, Taylor. Those are three tough fights. Say what you want about Miranda, but he is very dangerous, and Taylor was the proven MW champion. When has Calzaghe fought three consecutive fights like that? Pavlik is not the type to duck anyone. He will fight the best competition, and I don't think we have worry about him not.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Calzaghe. I think he is a very good fighter, and I think that he can beat Pavlik (although I wouldn't be surprised if Pavlik pulled it off), but I wouldn't worry about Pavlik not fighting good competition because he will.
