Pavlik might hit hard, but that has nothing to do with strength.

Calzaghe has bullied bigger men and is the far stronger man.

What Pavlik has done to his recent opponents with the solid opposition he has been facing, it convinces me more.

Calzaghe at this point does not hit harder than Pavlik. Pavlik has a pretty decent chin along with heart aswell.

I would favor him to win over Calzaghe.

I didn't say Calzaghe hit harder, I said he was stronger, there is a big difference.

Well, it looked to me like the OLD Middleweight Hopkins pushed Joe around all night and definately made Calzaghe fight BHops fight, not Joes'. Calzaghe is not as strong as you seem to think, and BTW Pavlik is taller than Joe is, he would easily carry more weight into the fight if he had to go up in weight. However, Joe would have a hard time going down in weight, if he did manage to make the weight - which I doubt he could, then he would be even weaker than he is now as far as punching goes.

Joe knows Roy Jones Jr throws what - maybe 10 punches per round now lol, he just stays on the ropes now and lets people hit him. Roy is a SHADOW of his former self, make no mistake about it, that is why Joe wants him now, because 10 years ago - he wouldn't touch him and everyone in the boxing world knows it.

Pavlik may be easy to hit, but with no power, it wouldn't matter, Pavlik would just walk through a Calzaghe punch and deliver his own MUCH harder shot. If Hopkins can knock Joe down --- Pavlik can knock him OUT....

calzaghe will fight both RJJ and Pavlik before retiring. Assuming he wins the first one. After his divorce and lack of big fights at SMW he wants as much cash as possible.

No world class boxer would be afraid of fighting Pavlik. That is the ******est thing ive ever heard.

As far as Hopkins is concerned - he is a blown up Middleweight, period.

And he STILL gave Calaghe all he could handle even at his age, for anyone to think for a second that Calzaghe would be able to handle a young gun like Pavlik at this point is rediculous...

ALL my points say if the fight ever happens, Pavlik beats the crap out of Joe Calzaghe. I say Pavlik stops him by a TKO Round 9 or 10...
