To cement his legacy I believe its better for JC to face RJ.....

In the UK Pavlik is still rather unknown amongst general sports fans. Roy Jones is a ****ing legend.

This fight will be big. JC made the right choice.

Why doesnt he just go ahead and fight Hearns or Hagler while he is at it? They are household names.

Don't be a smart ass, those two are RETIRED. I think Calzaghe should go after Prince Naseem instead.

Roy Jones is not well known in the UK. Kelly Pavlik was just in the newspapers and on UK tv because he won in 3 rounds against a UK fighter. Neither are household names, but both are known by boxing fans.

If you hate on Floyd or have ever hated on Floyd then you cannot think this fight is better for his legacy, the name on paper looks better but in no way is this more of a test or a better matchup or anything. I hate on Floyd for this very reason so to say it's okay for Joe to do this is a double standard and something I am not about!!!!

Pavlik is a big puncher who is also in his prime. Roy is not. This matchup would've been interesting to see 7-8yrs ago. Not now.

Why 7-8? It would have been interesting 5 years ago.

I didn't see coverage of that fight any where. Not on tv or any of the papers. Thing is nobody has heard of Lockett.....so GL V KP was a bit of a non starter.

RJ is a legend...everybody knows who he is.
