      he's still young......

he's only fought 17 fights. how can you justify a chance at a title with all those older guys in front of him with much more established names and record?

his handlers need to take it slow before putting him up against the top guys. besides most of those guys are above 30. better to get him more seasoned and pick them off in a few years when they are a bit older and past prime.

      amir has plenty of time.

Ive voted Guzman, but actually I dont think any of these fighters will be able to clean out the division.

WBO rules permit a champion of any division (Guzman was the 130 champ) to move up/down to another division and take precedence over the mandatory challenger (if there is one). That rule has been there for quite some time.

Don't be afraid to actually READ something (like maybe the WBO rules) once in awhile.
be nice. wbo rulebook is not something i'd want to read in bed.

i wasn't questioning his skills. what i was implying is maybe a promoter is setting him up for a possible big fight with manny because money is the cashcow at 130-135 and manny-joan fight would probably draw more than a nate fight.

i apologize. i should've known better than to imply that promoters influence the rankings. i should've known that never happens.

I never said it doesnt happen. I merely said that in THIS INSTANCE it didn't happen, and people shouldnt make ignorant allegations about crap like that when they know absolutely nothing about the situation. And as Nate's co-promoter, I take offense to it, because it implies that we "played ball" with the situation.

i wasn't making an allegation as much as i was making a sarcastic implication.

why would you take offense to it if it wasn't directed at you? you guys are not joan's promoter. is it not fair to say that joan's promoter wants a crack at the cashcow at 135 which is manny right now? i'm sure nate's guys are making plans to position a title bout with manny aren't they?

how does it make nate look bad if he's fighting one of the top guys and a champion at 130? a guy who many feel should be top 10 p4p?

This division is the best around at the moment.

Because by implying that there was some foolishness in Guzman becoming our WBO mandatory and we said nothing and did not protest, that would mean that we either were either a party to it, weren't "involved" but went along with it, or were too ****** to know they shouldnt have been able to do it.

Any one of those 3 choices is an insult.
