What? How about putting him in against a journeyman like Rocky Juarez first.
You can't jump from tomato cans to the superstar elite overnight.

    .

    Juarez isn't a journeyman....he's a gatekeeper.

I think Valero knocks him out.
Valero should fight Humberto Soto, so Humberto can have a belt.

He's fought a string of japanese nonen******. Who are they?

Let's see how he does against decent fighters like Humberto Soto, Alex Arthur, Urbano Antillon, Nick Cook, etc.
Why's this guy skipping over all of them and talking about multi-million dollar purses? lmao

This dude's got Prince Hamed written all over him.
The first really good fighter he fought - Barerra - he got exposed and you never heard from him again.
His comp has been ok, but he has no names on his resume. The Mosquera fight showed that he could truly fight. It sold me. Since then, he has gotten better and better each time out. He wants to fight the best because he believes he is the best. He had to go through a lot with the CAT scan thing, but hopefully he is over that. He is a world champ at 130. Guys who come out of nowehre, and get the big upset like baldy, mayorga, and many others either show their worth, or prove themselves. I think valero can prove himself. He aint no joey gamache.

How about Valero-vs-Katsidis at 135. I seen here http://www.*********.com/koizumi446.htm that Valero is cleared to fight in Texas and Katsidis is supposed to fight there in Houston in a few months. Valero-vs-Katsidis anyone? With everyone leaving(Pacquiao,Valero,Guzman,Marquez) 130 might be Alex Arthur's weight class

Valero could be the boss at 130 since everybody else is movin up, but of course that leaves him without any money fights. I wanted to see him face JMM for the top spot at 130, but it looks like they all want a piece of Pac at 135.

Wild haymakers, chin up, no defense...
Valero will get blown out against the first good fighter he faces.

Remember all the hype about that russian Victor Oganov who was 26-0 (26)?
The he met a good fighter- Fulgencio Zuniga - and got schooled and KO'd.

It'll be the same thing with Valero.
One countershot and the hype is over.
Valero are just fighting clowns... I've seen him fight... he wont stand a chance against A-list fighters... let him fight in Japan, he can beat those **** actors there in less than 3 rounds... His record is the biggest joke in boxing history... Hey, Valero, I think Jeremy Irons is fit to give you a fight, he can scuk his own dcik too... hahaha...

i can't understand why some members of this website were so impressed with valero. true, valero has 100% KO, but who were his opponents? are they big names? their records? i can't blame pacquiao if he labeled valero's foes as tricyle drivers.

remember john mugabe, he has 26 KOs in as many fights but his opponents were nobody... and everybody were impressed with that man from uganda, but when he fought marvin hagler, mugabe faded in round 9 and get KO'd.

i saw valero fight, but boy, believe me he will not last with marquez or barrera... his style will not even scramble the hair of pacquiao!

LOL Valero moving up in weight and facing a top class fighter will expose his ass. better stay at 130 and dominate it (if he can). Yeah, a Gamboa fight would be huge, let see who's the hype job and who is not.

He could have easily been DQed for this garbage.
