Valero will be schooled against a top dog
Or even against a middle dog.

Please stay at 130 and dominate that division. I enjoy a Valero fight but he is not ready for the big boys at 135.

Valero is being seriously underated, he should unify at 130 and then fight Gamboa, a fight with Pacquiao would be explosive.

Put Valero in against JMM or Manny Pac??
What? How about putting him in against a journeyman like Rocky Juarez first.
You can't jump from tomato cans to the superstar elite overnight.

He's fought a string of japanese nonen******. Who are they?

Let's see how he does against decent fighters like Humberto Soto, Alex Arthur, Urbano Antillon, Nick Cook, etc.
Why's this guy skipping over all of them and talking about multi-million dollar purses? lmao

This dude's got Prince Hamed written all over him.
The first really good fighter he fought - Barerra - he got exposed and you never heard from him again.

Valero will get blown out against the first good fighter he faces.

Remember all the hype about that russian Victor Oganov who was 26-0 (26)?
The he met a good fighter- Fulgencio Zuniga - and got schooled and KO'd.

It'll be the same thing with Valero.
One countershot and the hype is over.
But Valero is already more proven than this Oganaov guy. I want Valero to stay at 130 and i want Valero vs. Gamboa!! This would be great fight, Gamboa is the better boxer by far and faster but Valero really has serious power and that could overcome all Gamboas advantages!
Interesting fight! Would be a great challenge for Gamboa but he better improve his defense a bit!

You must be crazy. Valero can box. Ponce De Leon could not box one lick. Valero can box and slug. To make a statement like that shows that you have never saw him fight. If he moves to 135, that division will be stacked. Valero can get excited at times, but he has been calming down in his last few fights, and like any fighter, he has gotten drastically better. He is a devastating body puncher also. His weakness if i had to pick one is his defense. And his defense is no worse than cotto's. I expect good things from him in the future.
