No convensional boxer is going to beat Calzaghe

No way will someone who relies on his jab beat Calzaghe. The only way to beat Calzaghe is to have your own style and not rely on your jab (Hopkins, Jones). If you're expecting to out jab Calzaghe to beat him then you're never going to win.

Jones has a perfect style, he stays out of range and uses lead right hands. Pavlik DOES NOT have the style OR skill set to beat Calzaghe and any real boxing fan would know that. Pavlik is made for Calzaghe.

I agree. Joe is too slippery and throws too many punches. The only way he loses to a guy like Pavlik is if he walks into a bomb.

Pavlik is going to find out sooner or later that his straight forward, one-two, one-two, one-two style does not work against elite competition. It didn't even work against Taylor in the rematch. I had Taylor winning that fight. Pavlik is just way too basic and he's only getting by on power right now.

      Yeah.
Pavlik is an ordinary fighter with extraordinary power.
That being said, he can't live with Calzaghe.

Wow some people are smart. I have to say that Pavlik would not beat the Joe who fought Kessler or Lacy will easily outbox him. I think the only way Pavlik can win is if Joes age catches up to him which i doubt.

Pavlik cant beat Calzaghe, no way.

Pavlik needs to get set to get his shots off and all Calzaghe needs to do is keep his lead foot outside Pavliks lead foot while moving away from the right hand and Pavlk can do nothing.

Kessler is better fighter than Pavlik, he's alround better but just not as busy.

People are saying Pavliks workrate is the difference manker though. How is Pavliks workrate going to be effective though if he does not get set to get his shots off?

Calzaghe will win this fight. Im thinking 117-111.

                    1) Even though I think Pavlik might lose against Joey, I seriously doubt it'll be by such a wide margin. Kelly's way too consistent and determined to let the fight slip away THAT bad
                    2) Nice sig, if I didnt know any better I'd think Hatton was tough and Calzaghe was truly a legend killer.

A "legend killer" is someone who beats a legend in their prime
Eubank - over the hill when he fought Joey
                    Hopkins - please see above
Jones - Past his prime (and jones will still beat him)

So i dont see the logic behind your sig, but hey, to each his own.
