but one thing is for sure, nobody has ****ed over winky, even now that winky is where he has always wanted to be he's never stopped complaining

and had delahoya not lost his 154 pound title to mosley it would have been delahoya v. winky instead of what it turned out to be delahoya v. mosley

and winky could have moved up in weight when hopkins was ruling the middleweights but never did so because he knew he'd get his ass kicked, i mean he always complianed about his fights at 154 but not till the trinidad fight did he decide to move up to face a smaller fighter

winky always talks **** and thats most of why i dislike the guy, always compliains even now that he has what he's always wanted and yet he still complains
No, the last time I saw Winky try to box was round 12 of the Taylor fight, which I for sure thought he won (I know -Hyperion- is with me!). But everyone talks about his legs not being there anymore.

I actually do agree that Winky hasn't been screwed over by fighters, but I do think a few decisions have gone against him that shouldn't have. The majority of people had him beating both Vargas and Taylor. I have never seen it, but I have heard that quite a few people were surprised by the Simon decision as well. So indirectly, he wasn't getting the big fights that he should have because of controversial scoring.

go and ask someone what was going on when ouma was the #1 rated contender for Winkys title(mandatory!)

go ask why Winky was stripped

The Vargas fight was close, but when your the contender come at the champion at him for 12 rounds. but Winky was feeling the heat Vargas was bringing, Vargas stepped it up from round 9 and on and won the fight. He pressed the fight. From vargas performance and the hurt he was putting on winky i though Taylor was going to ko winky, but vargas must hit harder then taylor or his punchs are much better timided and better technique.

I understand that but to say he ducked him is rather crazy homie...I could see if he fought a lesser opponent than Ouma but Winky fought better fighters that would blow Ouma out of the water. (Tito, Taylor, B-hop) I having a VERY hard time understanding the point you're trying to make.

I'll watch this fight only and only if I'm having trouble sleeping. John Ruiz and Winky are the two fighters that I swore I would never watch again.

That has to be the funniest **** i've read today.
Wouldn't it be great if mandatories were always people like Ouma instead of Wright having to waste his time fighting Candelo or Hernandez, whichever one was actually his mandatory?

You guys really make up ****. I've said the Chavez fight was a draw and i aggree with a draw.

Had it been any other ref, Whitiker would have been disqualified for punching low.

Running and defense doesn't equal points.
I just remember I was surprised about what you had to say about the Chavez fight.

I don't score, but the way you score is definately way different from anyone else that I have seen. It almost seems like you take points away for "running" as you call it.

I have no idea how you gave Antonio Tarver 6 rounds and an even round against Hopkins to secure a draw for him either... that fight was a massacre. Hopkins was relentless and Tarver was lethargic and lazy.

Ouma was the #1 mandatory for Winkys title for over 1 year before Trinidad before Hopking. After Molsey, Winky could have defended his mandatory which in boxing Ouma was a very feared contender(forget what happened later) Ouma was feared and considered the best or 2nd bests light middlewight. Winky already beat Mosley clearly!!! and what does he do? He ducks Ouma(mandatory) and fights Mosley again and beat him again. Dropping his title(or stripped) for not fighting Ouma.

In other words winky always obssessed how people are ducking him but he is the one doing the ducking. He talks about being ducked but he ducked Ouma. There was a time that even Daniel Santos was ducked and wanted to fight Winky and Winky turned down the Santos fight.

I don't know where de la Hoya would fight him, at 160? I doubt Oscar would move up for anyone in his last fight.
