Joe should be worried about Kelly's power.
We saw him dropped and hurt by a single right hand from Bhop, and Pavlik is the far stronger puncher.

Fair enough. Maybe not embaresses but I think Roy wins reasonably convincingly. 1997-2002 Roy was just unbelievable. He fought several very good fighters in this period and made them look Lockett-like.

When it comes to experience Joe has the edge by a mile.

When it comes to handspeed/agility/movement, again, Joe by a longshot.

        Stamina?...close I think.

Pavlik's advantages are Youth, Power, Strength, Size, Reach and aggression.

It's a 50/50 fight IMO in all honesty.

Yeah I can't argue with that, I'd just be a hater. Prime RJJ was supernatural. 168 was his best weight too....tough business for Joe.

I think Pavlik fans have as much to worry about as Joe fans. Joe is getting older but he will always have two things that even at this stage will be very difficult for Pavlik to overcome. They are Awkwardness and Southpaw.

Pavlik has only fought one other southpaw that I can think of, that was McKart. He only had a 22% connect rate in that fight and got tagged a lot. Joe with his natural awkwardness will make it even more difficult.

People talk about Joe's speed but that is not something that will affect Pavlik. What will affect Pavlik is inexperience against a vastly different style than he has ever faced before.

Good post. McKart dropped Pavlik too if memory serves? or was that kind of a BS knockdown? he had one BS knockdown, can't remember against who.

You're the first Joke fan who realizes he has fought nothing but bums and could get knocked out once he faces a top fighter for the first time in his life...

yeah he hit Pavlik on the shoulder and it caused Pavlik to slip on the painted area of the ring that was wet.
