    Tarver vs. Dawson in negotiations?

I was wondering why I couldn't find anything about the purse bid for the Adrian Diaconu vs. Chad Dawson. The bid was originally scheduled for June 3, then postponed until yesterday June 10. I read in another boxing forum today that the purse bid has been further delayed until Friday June 13.

Then I found this article, which explains why the bid for Diaconu vs. Dawson has been delayed: the fight may not happen! According to this article, Dawson is in negotiations for a fight with Antonio Tarver for sometime in the early fall:

Dawson should fight Tarver for his IBO and IBF belt first. Then, Diaconu and Johnson should fight for the WBC interim (which I have heard talks about) and the winner of the two should fight sometime at the end of the year or the begining of the next. If Dawson beats Tarver, then he would have the WBC, IBF and IBO titles and would defend them against the winner of Diaconu/Johnson. It would make better since if it all went down like that.

Jhonson was not robbed in that fight. Dawson v Tarver would be a good fight.

Lets face it, Tarver is going DOWN as Forrest went. I prefer if a good Chad Dawnson gets his spoils rather than some other guy. In a perfect world Tarver would just retire with dignity, but he has to fight so pass it on to Chad, he deserves it.

Dawson to stop Tarver. I do hate Tarver though so my opinion is significantly biased.

Even though Tarver is old and past his prime, I still think he has enough left in the tank to KO Dawson...Tarver looked good against Woods, he is still the hardest puncher at 175....Dawson is very chinny and he has mediocre defense, I think Tarver will catch him and hurt him bad.

Tarver by KO if the fight happens.

Lets change the Diaconu bet to the Tarver bet? This is to you and Tunney as well, if you want to that is.
