      roy jones has nowhere to go,
      pavlik vs calzaghe is alright,
      for fans it's great but there is no hype, pavlik would need more fights before getting to calzaghe for a bigger payday;
      i'd say he would have to beat

      kessler
      lacy
      wright
      trinidad (maybe)

        We already know that Calzaghe cannot hurt Pavlik. Pavlik took great punches from Taylor and the recent guy(forgot his name already) that proved that he could hit hard. And Pavlik has improved a lot recently to where he is not just a powerful puncher, hes an excellent boxer. I'm finally a believer in Pavlik's power. He just doesnt look like he hits hard, but he must.

        This fight if it happens will finally de-rail the Calzaghe wagon.
        What wagon? The guy is consensus p4p number 2, he's a great fighter/boxer, grow up.

          this is GREAT news.
          usually i pick boxer over puncher but i'm jumping off the fense on kellys side. how can joe hurt him?
          still, i hope pavlik don't jinx himself and fights in england or germany. just incase calzaghe pulls that neutral grounds stuff.

                  October 18th is my birthday! God loves me!

                  I would just like to point out at this stage that by the consensus of voters here on this board, Kelly Pavlik is America's #1 active fighter. Please bear this in mind when Joe beats him.

                  That said, I will bet all my points on a Calzaghe victory and am now accepting bets. I'd prefer one big one if possible, say 70k for now.

                  Takers?

                      calzaghe has too much movement for pavlik, pavlik is too slow, and he wold have to move-up to make this happen;
                      so he would be slower
