It's a pick 'em fight: Pavlik will KO Joe, or Joe will win by decision.

I was hoping this fight wouldn't happen - I'd prefer to see them both remain undefeated.

        Exactly how I see it.

Kessler punches a lot harder than poor Pavlik.
I really think Pavlik doesn't know what he's
getting himself into. He won the title from a
Rocky Balboa type position and got fed good
opponents to beat by Arum. Bob Arum has
really messed up with this one though and
Pavlik will have to pay for it, badly.

I'm up for some bets on this one.

Name your terms, I'll bet anything you want on Calzaghe.

Forget fake points, I'm willing to put $2000 on Calzaghe.
Calzaghe will probably win by Decision but Pavlik will
find out or Calzaghe slaps or not. I wish it was Kessler,
he would KO Pavlik in 6 .

I'm glad Calzaghe/Jones may not be happening. He already beat a past prime Hopkins, then he wants to beat a past prime Jones and take credit for beating two of the bigger names in boxing. But they are way past their better days.

We already know that Calzaghe cannot hurt Pavlik. Pavlik took great punches from Taylor and the recent guy(forgot his name already) that proved that he could hit hard. And Pavlik has improved a lot recently to where he is not just a powerful puncher, hes an excellent boxer. I'm finally a believer in Pavlik's power. He just doesnt look like he hits hard, but he must.

This fight if it happens will finally de-rail the Calzaghe wagon.

Its a good fight, balls shown from both men if it happens, I'm predicting a Calz UD.
