By those same standard then Cotto should be ahead of Fake Floyd.

Manny number 1, I don't know about that. When does the pfp 1 win a fight by one point on one judges scorecard? I thought the marquez pac fight was very very close. The best fighter in the world should blow away 35 year old fighter. If manny is number 1, then marquez should be no less than number 2.

What say you to the split decision Floyd got over De La Hoya?

        Oscar was about that old.

Calzaghe just got a close SD over an even older Hopkins...

So who is P4P #1 for you?

I buy it, but don't care about the rankings.

No, nobody really think pac beat j.m.m. Boxing is not in a bad state literally. It is in a bad state when you have cotto fans like you. Wait, i got off topic...lol Boxing is in a bad state VOTING or PICKING the best fighter pfp. What is the criteria for voting pac over cal? Cal has fought tough comp. Half the kids here don't even know who byron mitchell was, but they know who barrera was. You can name about 5 good fighters pac faced. And when you look at those wins closely, i just don't come across convinced pac is the best fighter pfp in the world. That belongs to calzaghe. Cal has the comp, skills, and record to show he is a class above the rest. He may have not looked good beating hop in your eyes, but who has looked good against hop. Who care the tough fighters cal has faced?

cal: eubank, reid, sheika, brewer, mitchell, lacy, kessler, hop(undefeated)
pac: sanchez, barrera, morales(lost to morales and won 2 rematches), marquez, larios

Boxing always votes for punchers/considered warriors over pure technitions. Had pac beaten those guys in their primes, i'd vote for pac overwhelmingly.

I understand that people can't be bothered keeping everyones' favorite fighters straight...

But did someone really accuse Viva of being a Cotto fan?

He is the biggest Margarito fan in this forum bar none.

                    Fair enough!

Cotto fans have been quiet to my eyes lately... weird.
