One thing I would say tho, and I know I am clutching at straws, this 5.0 seems a little extreme...almost as if IGN has vested interests in any threats to EA and the revenue that EA provide allowing IGN's advertising divisions to sell ad space in EA games..
Just usually if a game got 5 (terrible score) then EVERY1 wld be saying how **** it is...but why are there so many people really enjoying it?
Its strange
I remember after buying Pro Evo 2008 there were several things that I was annoyed with. I went and read the review on IGN and found it to be seriously biased in favour of the game, ignoring or glossing over all of the faults and exaggerating the positives.
I then went back and played the game again and noticed that IGN.com were one of the sponsors and had paid advertisements within the game. I find it hard to trust anything they say now, although it is of course possible that the game just isn't very good.
Considering this game came out a long ass time after FNR3 it should be miles beter
but its not
Well said. I honestly don't like FNR3 that much. The career mode is horrible and is way too easy on the hardest mode possible. The fighting gameplay is too easy as well but its good. The 150 punches a round and barely tiring is hard to digest. I want to play King's version before I buy it. If the gameplay (the punches being off and such) isn't good, then that just about ruins it for me. If its ok, the selling point for me is a deep and well planned career mode.

That's a good point, IGN I thought has been biased in the past on numerous occasions, so that's a possibility. It will be interesting to see what other sites score it and if it's comparable.
Or you could get the game and form your own opinion.
LOL, me no thinky for self.
I have a PS3. I was actually going to get a 360 if this game was tight, but I'm not going to spend $300+ for a game that might suck. Hopefully a friend will buy/rent it and I can check it out
I bought it. I sold MLB 2008 (Complete garbage) and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (I didn't like the online play). And paid like a 20 bucks. Haven't played though. I'ma get on after Lakers/Celtics. I bump this later and let you know what I think about it.
