So.........................it sucks?

According to this site, yeah. Scoring a 5 out of 10 is basically saying "this game is a worthless piece of a **** don't buy it!!" Even crappy games get like a 6 or 6.5.

I dont understand whats going on. Theres a TON of guys over at 2k forums really enjoying the game, saying theyre hardcore boxing fans too. Maybe theyre trying to convince themselves they didnt waste 60 dollars....or is the game THAT subjective?

I'm really most concerned with the mechanics. From the users here they say it's horrible and this article gives mechanics 4.5 out of 10, which is really bad. Both the article and people on this site said that at times it's delayed, so the game is just now throwing a punch when you pressed the button a second ago and your already trying to block or whatever. Seems bad.

A 360 isn't powerful enough to recreate Tye Feilds. Even Sony's PS3 and it's 9 processors isn't enough. It actually requires 8 million processors.

that's a good point, it's something that these game console systems should take under notice and work on. otherwise what's the point of creating a game where fans cannot enjoy the greatest fighter of all time.

that's the real rip off for the public. watch out for future lawsuits, Prizefighter's days on the market are numbered

yeah thats unacceptable.

One thing I would say tho, and I know I am clutching at straws, this 5.0 seems a little extreme...almost as if IGN has vested interests in any threats to EA and the revenue that EA provide allowing IGN's advertising divisions to sell ad space in EA games..

Just usually if a game got 5 (terrible score) then EVERY1 wld be saying how **** it is...but why are there so many people really enjoying it?

That should be enough said, but the game has a huge learning curve and it takes time to learn it. The guy obviously wasn't pleased he couldn't throw 100 punches per round. A lot of people are liking this game and I'd take their word for it. They gave FNR3 like a 9 didn't they

Yeah I hear you man. 2K8 deserves a 9.5 or smt, premier of basketball games. Hehe.

Yeah FN3 gets a 9 despite all its flaws and SHALLOW career mode. IGN is up EA'S arse.

Even one of the members Skull was saying how this game was gonna suck, but he's actually enjoying it. He says it's not better then Round 3 (though this guy is a huge round 3 fan), but it's still good.

I'd say it's about 75/25 about the people who like it and don't and then maybe 65-35 for the people who think it's sim and the people who don't.
