Im still not sold on the kid yet. When he starts fighting people hes suppose to fight especially now that hes champ then ill decide but for now i still see him as a prospect.Zab,Mosley and Clottey would give him HELL. Quintana is a good first step, but I have seen berto against any southpaws.

I've watched almost all of Beto's fights and agree he would beat most in the division.

Judah: Requires no explanation, BERTO WOULD COMPLETELY break down Judah... I think Andre has the hardest body attack in the WW division, but everyone just wants to talk about Cotto, Mr 6 round fighter zab couldnt handle that pressure for all 12 rounds... theres just no way about it...

Clottey: WOuld be a great fight, But I think Berto can edge it out, The Jab is really his best weapon in my opinion... Clottey is a great inside fighter and would most likely test Bertos heart, But I think the key is that jab from keeping clottey working on the inside... and berto will need head movement in this fight...

Collazo: I just think Berto is a better faster and more powerful fighter, The SouthPaw stance might give him problems, buz I cant see Collazo handling the power...

Quintana: Could be problems, But I see Berto pulling that out, I think Quintana is the weakest link the championship division... he can box, but anyone with a good punch ala williams and cotto can take him out... In my humble opinion bertos got more snap than both of them... im sure the cottoboys will disagree... and ima HUGE fan of Pwill.. but i think Bertos just got more snap...

Cotto, Floyd, Margarito, Cintron, and Williams are all above Berto at this stage... but only because Andre is still up and coming, and working on his defense, which even he has said needs brushed up on... once his defense is figured out... its gonna be rough for anyone to deal with...

The fact that Andre hasnt faced any "names" yet, doesn't mean he cant BEAT them... his management has been doing a SUPERB job, on slowly yet surely upping his competition, and he slowly but surely has been upping his performance... Ive been absolutely amazed and intrigued by this mans talent, and show my friends every time he fights...

Sad to see Floyd go,but Fun to see whats new coming in.. and thats Andre Berto...

I agree 100%, and I don't undestand why Berto isn't respected more. Anyone can clearly see that he is already one of the best offensive forces in boxing. Only the very best of the division will stop him, and maybe not for that much longer.

Berto has great trouble with and possibly loses to Mosley and Collazo, he needs more work. He can beat Judah IMO but he needs to improve his defense. He has too many openings in his defense and has not faced opposition worth mentioning.

Now he could beat Quintana and Judah easily for your reasons above,
Clottey I doubt and Mosley no way. Mosley barely loss to Cotto and Berto would get knocked out by Cotto now. In a couple years he takes the division.

My question with Berto is with how quick he is, how hard does he REALLY hit? Or did Mikki Rod have a hell of a chin?

But I agree Berto still needs work on the defense side of things, but his speed is ridiculous no doubt.

I wouldn't go as far yet sayin he'll beat a Cotto, Clottey, or Mosley just yet. But I hope he flourishes.
