Judah: Requires no explanation, BERTO WOULD COMPLETELY break down Judah... I think Andre has the hardest body attack in the WW division, but everyone just wants to talk about Cotto, Mr 6 round fighter zab couldnt handle that pressure for all 12 rounds... theres just no way about it...

Clottey: WOuld be a great fight, But I think Berto can edge it out, The Jab is really his best weapon in my opinion... Clottey is a great inside fighter and would most likely test Bertos heart, But I think the key is that jab from keeping clottey working on the inside... and berto will need head movement in this fight...

Collazo: I just think Berto is a better faster and more powerful fighter, The SouthPaw stance might give him problems, buz I cant see Collazo handling the power...

Quintana: Could be problems, But I see Berto pulling that out, I think Quintana is the weakest link the championship division... he can box, but anyone with a good punch ala williams and cotto can take him out... In my humble opinion bertos got more snap than both of them... im sure the cottoboys will disagree... and ima HUGE fan of Pwill.. but i think Bertos just got more snap...

Cotto, Floyd, Margarito, Cintron, and Williams are all above Berto at this stage... but only because Andre is still up and coming, and working on his defense, which even he has said needs brushed up on... once his defense is figured out... its gonna be rough for anyone to deal with...

The fact that Andre hasnt faced any "names" yet, doesn't mean he cant BEAT them... his management has been doing a SUPERB job, on slowly yet surely upping his competition, and he slowly but surely has been upping his performance... Ive been absolutely amazed and intrigued by this mans talent, and show my friends every time he fights...

Sad to see Floyd go,but Fun to see whats new coming in.. and thats Andre Berto...
Berto would beat Cintron mentally then physically

well from what i've heard about berto's last fight (like a few hours ago) he seems to have brushed up on that defence and is more controlled. i think he can take most of the guys ree****yulass mentioned but yeah cotto, marg, pw would be too much atm

Good post, I agree with you, except for where you rank Kermit. I think Berto might be too fast for Cintron to settle and make a fight for himself. Just like the others you mentioned, Berot got a chance and any of them should make an interesting matchup for Berto.

This is what I posted earlier on another thread...

Collazo, Cintron, Quintana, Clottey, Zudah and Mosley are good matchups for Berto. He should beat at least 2 of those fighters before he heads up to fight any of the top 3. It's interesting how you make comments about deserving a fight. Thanks to Kermit's will to overcome his first loss (and ******ity), Tony got a chance to become a champ again. After losing to Paul Williams, Tony could had been easily ducked by all tittle holders. Berto should fight any of the six fighters I meantioned at the beginning.

Good post. I think Collazo would be a good step up for Berto. I think he makes easy work of that matchup and should then take the winner of Clottey-Judah. Berto reminds me a little of Mayweather but with an edge to him. I like that he's hungry and will be a great addition to the Welterweight division. He has extremely tough opposition in Cotto, Margarito, Williams, and possibly Mosley but I think he can take care of Collazo, Cintron, and Judah. I haven't seen enough of Clottey so I can't comment on him.

i don't think he would fight collazo, collazo used him as a sparring partner when he fought against mosely. berto wasn't as polished as he is now but i heard that collazo was giving it to him.

It's hard to say how good Berto actually is until he fights someone who would actually give him trouble.
