EVERYONE is biased.. It's called an opinion.
If you weren't biased you wouldn't have an opinion..
Some are more biased then others.. but this conspiracy theory against Floyd has to stop.
I actually didn't mind the guy until he moved up.Comment

If the rolls were switched and Cotto retired and was in Mayweather's postition and Mayweather was in Cotto's.... Us Cotto fans wouldn't hear the end of it from you guys.. So it's a little payback for all the **** you have talked only to have your boy retire when there is big fights to be made.Comment

Bias and opinion are not the same thing. Words have definitions for a reason. Do not take it upon yourself to challenge those distinctions.
For instance:
Cotto has never been as courageous as Mayweather was in his breathless defeat of Corrales. Bravery isn't just firing back when you get tagged, or getting up off your ass when another slugger knocks you down...it's putting on a fearless display of inspired technical boxing skill against a bigger, stronger opponent, staying focused and sharp and on top of your senses and your nerves for the duration of a fight against a renowned, hungry and fearsome champion who was unbeaten in 33 fights.
That is an opinion. I do not form it around hate for Cotto, which would be the definition of bias.Comment

This speculation just interferes with reality. If the rolls were switched and Cotto retired and was in Mayweather's postition and Mayweather was in Cotto's.... Cotto is not and never would be "in Mayweather's position". Floyd was the one calling the shots for a reason. He's the best in the sport.
Floyd Mayweather does not do his work to satisfy you. Contrary to what you may think, neither does Miguel Cotto.
If Floyd wants to test his desire to remain in the sport, how is this worthy of hatred?
Also, how many "premature" boxing retirements prove permanent?
Be real.
Just once.
Try it.Comment

He didn't run from Cotto.
He would beat Cotto up in that ring. You know it.
His decision had nothing to do with Cotto. He could've cruised by De La Hoya again for the money, and he didn't. That proves his decision to retire was entirely personal. Most likely to see how he feels away from the sport...to see if he still needs it.Comment
