Fighters are also rated on their losses not just the wins , if your competing and loosing in top level you are still rated highly , Miranda is a very dangerous fighter for anyone and if you drop the class a little he flattens them , I think his rating is fair and his style guarantees a good fan base , I dont have a problem with Miranda at all , wants to fight the best and comes to fight .
Edison Miranda: why so highly rated?

I will be sure to remind of this when Abraham is laid out flat. Would that make him a bum or Miranda destroying a world class opponent?
Randy Neuman has been banned by the WBO and has not gotten too much action since this disgrace. It has no bearing that he is American. Sauerland has his ways to influence the ref and judges. Why do you think Neuman has been doing to many of his fights?Comment

Rated highly by only fans. And that's because he virtually guarantees excitement. All that matters to MOST fans.Comment

Miranda isn't the most skilled fighter, and he may not be at that elite level. But he's a very exciting fighter to watch, and has a great story. It's very easy to be a fan of Miranda. Not to mention he destroys people.Comment

Who else at this level fought 4 times in less than 8 months against competition that held an amazing combined record of 94-1 with an 82% KO ratio?
Abraham
Gibbs
Green
Pavlik
OK, so he lost legitimately to one of these guys. And Pavlik happens to be the hottest talk in boxing right now, even people thinking he should be P4P top 3. The Abraham loss was controversal no question about it. If it wasnt, then why all the talk about it????
So, Miranda, has lost one controversal to the undefeated, 7 time defending world champion Arthur Abraham and one to the almighty Kelly Pavlik. Big deal!
And if he wins June 21st???? Then what are you doubters gonna say? He would have cleaned up his one questionable loss and only have a blemish on his record againt the guy many people think is a living legend. And Miranda wants nothing more then to revenge that loss too.Last edited by Pantera2000; 06-09-2008, 08:17 PM.Comment

Randy Neuwman made a critical mistake by interrupting their fight. He wanted to stop a fight where the fighter didn't want to stop fighting. If he did, he wouldn't have kept on fighting. I'm not concerned with Sauerlands history. If you have no proof of anything he did in the miranda-AA fight, why even uttter it???I will be sure to remind of this when Abraham is laid out flat. Would that make him a bum or Miranda destroying a world class opponent?
