Did I ever just come to one of your threads and call you a dip**** and say that everybody thinks you're a dip**** without responding directly to what you wrote???

I don't think so. The guy contributed nothing to this thread and thought he was undermining me by throwing personal insults at me.

He didn't accomplish anything. He is a dip**** and got exposed for it.

    Moving on time.

Its funny after Pavlik beat Taylor the second time in the post interview he said that he would like to face Calzaghe that he is a great champion. And know after beating Gary Locket he acts as if Calzaghe is not known and says ****** stuff like nobody knew who the hell he is before the Hopkins fight. Come on Pavlik nobady knew who you were after you beat Miranda or even Taylor.

Kelly Pavlike said what he said, don't shoot the messenger.

I gave my own opinion on the whole thing using american great fighters from the past (Ali, Louis, Robinson, etc) as example why we are the place to come if you wanna be great. We have a rich history of great fighters (like you do in soccer), which is why we have more credibility in saying that America is the Capital of Boxing greatness.

How is that ******?????? It's debatable but not ****** and you are not debating, you are fighting back like a school girl on this subject.

I'm not giving up since I'm winning the argument. All you have is personal insults to try to reduce my analysis down, it aint working fish.

An entire thread based on comments made immediately post-fight and being taken completely out of context/misunderstood......basically what I'm coming to expect from many here! LOL

How were they taken out of context? This isn't Reverant Wright and Barack ***** Drama.

He said that people don't give american fighters credit for beating European fighters, fighters who fight primarly in Europe. He also said that Americans don't know those fighters that well... so beating them doesn't mean as much as beating a fighter who fights in America on American Tv.

Nothing out of context in that. It's his opinion and his opinion what American boxing fans think. And he is right for the most part although he could have phrased it better.

Still think people aren't taking this out of context OP? Listen to the whole piece madskills; he wasn't putting him down in any way shape or form. All about context...

the bottom line is, casual boxing fans really didn't know who calzaghe was until the hopkins fight, and i would even bet casual boxing fans around the world, other than UK and parts of europe, didn't know or still don't know. one thing i will say about us harcore wily boxing fans is that we take for granted the fact that we know more than others on certain and most boxing topics than the casual fans and we assume that the general public is a certain way or in the know, when in actuality, most people don't pay attention to boxing like we do and don't care to.

i don't think it's an american thing it's a casual boxing fan thing, mass population, and i don't think pavlik is or was out of line in any way in saying so. it's basically a truth, a observation on what is taking place.
