Even Pavlike knows what's up with European fighters

I don't know much about Erdei. Do you? What, really do you know about his defences and the fighters he faced in them? Have you seen them fight? Do you know the reputation each of them carries? Their boxing style? Do you have any real basis, WHATSOEVER, for saying they are "not relevant", other than the fact that you, yourself do not know much about them and they are not American "names"?Maybe they also need to check out current WBO light-heavyweight champion Zsolt Erdei. That is if they can find him. The guy already has 10 WBO title defenses and hasn't fought anybody relevant at 175lb. I guess the plan is to have 7 or 8 more title defenses in the next couple of years and then he will travel to America and proclaim himself as the best light-heavyweight when Glen Johnson, RJJ, Tarver, etc,. are done beating each other.
American fans like you literally behave and talk as though boxing in the US exists on some rarified plain of excellence that no other place in the world can touch. American journeymen, ex champs and up and comers are always MUCH better that fighters of the same status in the rest of the world, simply because they are the names that go down on your favourites records. What do you think? The rest of the world doesn't know how to box? That Europe is incapable of producing mid-level fighters that are relevant tests for a champion? The arrogance, frankly is incredible, and all the more so because none of you have the slightest idea you are doing it. You take it as read that "USA is the best" to the point that it is almost the defining fact of your reality.Comment

Yes America is the place where you come if you wanna go down as one of the best to ever lace them up. Our rich history gives us that right. Ali, Louis, Frazier, Foreman, Robinson, Dempsey, W. Pep, Leonard, etc,.I don't know much about Erdei. Do you? What, really do you know about his defences and the fighters he faced in them? Have you seen them fight? You wanna stay in Europe and be a champion, fine that's your choice but don't complain when boxing historians don't put you up there with ALL-TIME greats. You have to America just like americans have to come to europe if they want to have credible Soccer careers.
I have seen Erdei's record, never seen a fight of his since he only fights on german TV. His best wins come against guys Tarver used as tune-ups like Danny Santiago. He won his title off of a guy RJJ dominated years ago when he was unbeaten (Gonzalez - the guy who beat Michaelchewski ironicallY)
He is a nobody, and he can keep pumping his resume up to 20 title defenses protecing his title in his hometown, to me and other he is no more relevant then former WBC Flyweight title holder Pongsaklek Wonjongkam - who made over 20 defenses in Thailand.Last edited by Vladimir303; 06-08-2008, 07:17 PM.Comment

Youc an keep up that talk BUT just remember, you don't come to america you're not gonna go down as one of the best.
You guys have the same advantage in Soccer. We can't compete with you guys in that department even if we have some good players.
They need to go to the European leagues to prove how good they are because America is the last place to do it.Comment
