that's the figure i heard. i'm not saying per fight. but maybe after he was champion?

people underestimate how much these guys get paid. pride in japan paid a lot more than the ufc that's why a lot of ufc guys went there before pride folded.

mma is bigger in japan i guess.

... dont u think that Mayweather would go through extensive training?!?!?!

OBVIOUSLY he would. His stand up skills would already be about 100x better then anybody in MMA. His defense would be about 1,000,000,000x better.

He'd train for a year to avoid takedowns and all that good stuff and just work on forcing the stand up game. He'd be dominant

you guys do realize UFC is the big dog? and with a network TV deal and more sponsors jumping on Floyd jr will be getting paid huge money! and the ufc fighters pay will increase drastically.

Don king killed boxing and he doesnt give a **** he never let the heavyweights unify when he had them.

why can't guys be a fan of both? i am. obviously been a fan of boxing since i was a little kid watching with my dad. but i've been a fan of mma since the first ufc in '93 and vale tudo japan in '94 and later pride.

the two sports can co-exist. the prestige is still boxing and mma is not a threat. nobody complained about kickboxing before (and kickboxing is closer to boxing than mma) why are all boxing fans complaining about mma?

you don't train wrestling or jiu-jitsu in a year and get good at it.

it takes decade to be a brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt. he's gonna defend takedowns against guys who's been doing wrestling since high school?

it's not that easy. trust me.

One year won't make up for the guys who have been training since high school and sometimes jr high.

Not until Tye fields retire lol. Mayweather going to UFC is, as they say, a good riddance for boxing lol. He can project whatever he wants to project but not all people will believe his BS. He was playing hard to get against hoya for the simple reason that he wants more moolah and this retirement bull**** maybe just a ploy to get all the moolahs that he wants.

If Floyd actually took the time to train for a year plus then maybe. I just think you are overlooking how much all around skills these guys have. It looks sloppier than it really is. BJJ takes a lot of skill, any good BJJ guy would take Floyd apart Im positive.
