If Floyd has retired, all this talk of P4P #1 should be decided in these guys next fights.

Personally, I think beating "the man" who is undefeated and KO's people for fun is more impressive, and would earn Joe the top spot.

Definitely Joe... but... Calzaghe will retire after that fight meaning he is no longer P4P #1 either.

When you consider what weight Manny started off his career at and the weight he is facing Diaz at and he was to win the title?!?!

That would make a strong case too for the #1 spot.

I'm on the fence on that one.

Yes, it is very impressive, but Diaz is an underdog in that fight, which pretty much says it all.

Plus, when Diego says that a Calzaghe win would be more impressive, you KNOW it's true.

Calzaghe beating Pavlik would be more impressive but 1 fight doesnt determine p4p status, The Pavlik fight is nowhere near finalized and you be eating so much crow if Calzaghe doesnt deliver against Pavlik or goes right back to fighting nobodies

okay...... is the pavlik-calzaghe fight deal done?

i know the diaz fight is already set for this month.

why are you comparing a hypothetical bout for joe against one that's already made for manny?

if you are gonna hypothesize a pavlik win for joe then why not hypothesize a hatton win for manny?

you're putting up a hypothetical fight win against one that's already set?

you're putting up a hypothetical dream win that'll probably be joe's best win to date against manny pacquiao's TUNE-UP fight?

                funny.

I have Calzaghe at number one anyway. Pac was number 2. Floyd wasn't in my top 5, 10 yes, top 5 no. His resume as of late is seriously lacking actual contenders.

You've got to be joking to think Calzaghe would not be as heavily favored against a younger, smaller, underrated Pavlik
