none...mosley had to avoid him because the fight was in demand when his boss was about to fight mayweather(mosley wasnt gonna say "oscar said i cant").....floyd acted on that to not give shane the chance to cash in...

Just meant this could turn ugly.

I would vote for neither. Both guys had their chances and it never happened. Our loss as it would have been a great one.

It's better Mayweather fought Hatton anyway because then Cotto wouldn't be where he's at today, Mayweather would have fought "another old guy", and Mayweather/Cotto gave us both great fights against the other guy.
Funny...I wouldn't really say Mosley ducked him at 147 though. He just said he wasn't ready for ANY fight, period.

What everyone forgets is, when asked about Mayweather, Mosley said, "He needs to fight Margarito."

Yeah that's a good point there. Still they could have fought in November insted of say Mayweather fighting Baldomir and Mosley fighting Vargas again.

          You are probably right though.

at 135 shane takes floyd imo.

the going up in weight really dulled shane's speed and skills.

at 147 now or even a few years ago. floyd takes shane. shane's bodybuilding (and maybe 'roids?) hurt him a lot. shane at 135 was WOW!

This is exactly what i knew about the situation has well, Mosley never called out Mayweather until Mayweather was going to fight Hatton...I remember Mayweather calling out Mosley back when he was going after Judah, Judah at that time was also calling out Mosley even going has far in calling him Nosely..Mosley then came out and said maybe both Mayweather and judah can fight each other before he consider it...He then suggest Mayweather fights Margarito before he fights him...Then he wanted a vacation after the Vargas fight....Then he had a toothache.

nah...... baldo was a must. he was the linear at the time wasn't he. if zab had shown up against carlos we wouldn't be talking about this. floyd would have just fought zab and gotten all the titles.

Mosley just wanted them to eliminate each other. Let's not talk about Margarito-Mayweather here. I'm sick of hearing and talking about it.
