Who avoided who? Mayweather or Molsey

Please provide evidence of anyone of both fighters turning down the fights.

I remember Mosley turning down the fight twice recently, around the time he fought Vargas which am sure pisses Mayweather off at the time.

This isnt a hate thread and please dont turn it into one, I just want objective debate like adults.

i know mosley definitely chose not to fight floyd over vacation time and a tooth ache

i dont know if you call it a duck... but i know he had the option and didnt take it

that was back when floyd wasnt making millions and wasnt in the limelight... he was willing to fight the biggest names back then

Shane didn't really start calling out Mayweather until when Hatton and Mayweather were already in negotiations and going to fight. Mayweather was more talking **** to Mosley then ducking him "Oh he's just a sparring partner, etc", while Shane was saying lame ass excuses "I need a vacation. My tooth hurts"

It's better Mayweather fought Hatton anyway because then Cotto wouldn't be where he's at today, Mayweather would have fought "another old guy", and Mayweather/Cotto gave us both great fights against the other guy.

i don't know if shane ducked floyd or not. maybe he did. maybe he thought he wasn't ready. maybe he thought he needed to get some more ringtime before. don't really know the timeline. if it was after the winky losses , i would understand if shane wanted to take a breather and thought he wasn't ready for a big fight. don't know. like i said i don't know the exact timeline as far as to this story.

all i know is after losing to vernon he rematched. after winky the same. shane's not scared of losing. if he didn't take the fight it wasn't because he was scared it'd probably had to do with the timing. just my opinion though.

Yup. At 130/135, Mosley was interested in the bout.

                    At 147, Floyd.
