There is no size difference between Mayweather and Hatton.

2005-2007= Hatton is stronger and a bigger puncher than mayweather, mayweather will succumb to the pressure and the many angles hatton uses along with his body punching and power, hatton will cut off the ring and force floyd into a fight ala jose luis castillo

2008= mayweather took a title defense he knew he would win and only beat hatton because hatton is the smaller guy and forced him to fight him at welterweight, mayweather only takes easy fights against easy competition, thus his welterweight defense against hatton means nothing because hatton is the smaller guy.

Floyd weighed 135 in his fight against Corrales, who weighed 147 on fight night. Floyd has been anything but a drainer his entire career and routinely beats guys bigger than him, but when a Hatton weighs like 2 pounds less he's "way too small, it's comical that Floyd would even fight a midget like that." So what does it say for the rest of Floyd's opponents when they are beat by a guy "way too small" for them?

You have the Tiger Woods in golf, Roger Federrer in tennis, Kobe Bryant in basketball, Anderson Silva in MMA, etc.,etc. All these guys make their number one opponents look like nothing. Floyd doesn't even face his number 1 opponents and he still doesn't look spectacular.

there's no weight classes in golf, tennis, basketball or etc...

mma does have weight classes, but brazilian jujitsu is all about trying to beat someone bigger than you.

as floyd has moved up in weight his offense has suffered, but it's a testament to floyd's skills and talent that he continues to beat larger opponents.
