    lets run some names

Pacquaio looked like he was gonna lose and lost in my opinion against marquez

Calzaghe looked like an amatuer against hopkins

Cotto looked sorry against every good fighter he has faced with the exception of quintana

Floyd didnt even fight hard against Oscar and still made the fight look easy.. In the rough fight with hatton, floyd won most of the rounds, smothered hatton's punches and was hitting him with clean effective shots and koed the guy.. Baldomir got shut out, Gatti was embarrassed, Manfredy got destroyed, Corrales was outclassed, Hernandez outclassed, he did struggle with Castillo the first fight but in the second he easily beat him.. FLoyd always rises to the occasion especially in his biggest fights

So Floyd fights defensive(hands around his stomach or chest and he's having a walk in the park lol. Henry Akinwande would be proud.

Anderson Silva in MMA, etc.,etc. All these guys make their number one opponents look like nothing. Floyd doesn't even face his number 1 opponents and he still doesn't look spectacular.
I wouldnt say Silva makes his opponents look like nothing, he makes them look worse than they are, but the Rich Franklin fight the second time wasnt wat it was the first time, and hes not fought a really hard fighter at middleweight in the UFC he fought alot better guys when he wasnt at the ufc

yeah he is seeing as he's able to sometimes completely dodge or block incoming punches and easily able to quickly counter punch back

you know what I always say when people talk about the weight draining? Its so funny because Chico was clearly the bigger man but not weight drained. This fight shows you how great Floyd is because even though he was clearly the smaller man, if you go nearly 4 years forward, Floyd is fighting at 140. Guess where Chico is? He's the champ at 130. I love how a guy is supposed to be so weight drained but nearly 4 years later he is still fighting at that weight. It also shows Floyd's greatness because he was clearly way smaller then both Chico & Castillo but moved up to 140 way before them

So now Floyd has to dominate every fight 100% of the time???? Such high standards.

Isn't he like one of the few to be dominant in almost every fight during his career?

He can't have any close competitive fights and still win? Isn't that what fans want from dominant fighters, to be in a competitive fight and still pull though and win? Isn't that the definition of rising to the occasion....by winning when not everything is going perfect for you?

Yes, but he's in competitive fights with second-tier fighters. Sadly!
