For Kobe Bryant it's easier to make shots in the playoffs against the toughest opposition with the clock running down. All due respect to Floyd's skills but he can't perform to his best when the pressure is on. DLH, JLC and even in the Hatton fight he looked bad until the ko. He didn't even look that good against Judah. I can give him the Corrales fight but that's the best that I can do.

I'd say that Floyd did rise to the occasion against Hatton. I don't know about looking "bad," he was hitting Hatton at will and was so far up on points that a mercy stoppage wouldn't have been entirely out of line.Comment
You have the Tiger Woods in golf, Roger Federrer in tennis, Kobe Bryant in basketball, Anderson Silva in MMA, etc.,etc. All these guys make their number one opponents look like nothing. Floyd doesn't even face his number 1 opponents and he still doesn't look spectacular.Comment
the only fights that come to mind where he looked bad were the first castillo fight, though castillo fought dirty.......floyd ws flustered in that fight......the carlos hernandez fight i believe where he hurt his hand......and that is about it......all fighters look bad.......there isn't a fighter who performed well in every fight.......i thought he could've put out more in the dlh fight.....he looked superb in the hatton fight......and baldy weighed about 20 lbs more than floyd so knocking him out at welter was just about impossible.........i havent seen the elite top 10 pfp fighters look that bad in big fights........in recent memory.........Comment
Hatton was clearly the smaller men and if you gonna talk abot JL Castillo fighting dirty Mayweather fought the dirtiest against HattonComment
