Sugar Ray Robinson had everything in his toolbag.
Heart , Will , Skill , KO power and a chin.
He was the "Ultimate Fighter".
And he fought the best of his era without saying Quack quack like Floyd or Roy Jones Junior.
As a boxing fan you really should know everything about SRR.
I suggest you go back to school and learn.

Go back to the 1990's and you will find a trend that started with Roy Jones.
A trend that began the decline of true quality fights within boxing.
Roy was the man who decided who he would fight rather than fight the best contenders.
He held HBO to ransom.
And I am not a prick towards you.
I just don't see things like you do.
But you wear blinkers when it comes to Roy Jones.
You believe the hype and you are a factor of what is wrong with Boxing today.

The thing about Robinson is, he litterally could do anything at all. He won the golden gloves at Featherweight and Lightweight, won the Welterweight world title and the Middleweight title 5 times and almost died in his effort to gain the lightheavyweight title..

That is outstanding im sure you must agree, adding the fact he was 85-0 with 69 KOs as an amateur and 173-19-6 with 108 KOs as a pro and fought until his skills were badly eroded. I'm sure you can tell, he was truly a special fighter.

Lol, Dunno why Roy had to come into it tbh, not one thing in the poll, opening post, or posts since mention him, so it does seem a bit personal and off topic. Interesting about RJJ not taking fights starting such a trend, it's not a wacky thing, and I don't respect his ducking. But still he's a great boxer, this is boxing. This in particular is a thread about SRR however.
