Mayorga is a no-good technician. Hatton is a little bit better IMO. None of them has a good defense or footwork. Offensively I'll go with Hatton.

Hatton by far. If they were to fight Mayorga is too big and too hard hitting and Hatton would get knocked out, but that ain't the question. Hatton has great footwork, uses good angles and when he wants to avoid being hit has good head movement too. Mayorga just throws big wide punches non-stop.

Anyone who says that Hatton has no skill doesn't understand boxing. "Ooh ooh philly shell". Fight Night Round 3 is not real life, go win the Burger King belt.

It's called desperation when you know you're down. Hatton was boxing well against Floyd for 7 rounds and got hurt in the 8th and 9th, with the point deduction he was all but assuredly going to lose a decision. At that point a fighter has to decide to either go for broke and risk getting KO or play it safe and coast to a loss by decision. Hatton is a warrior who went for broke and got a TKO. DLH played it safe and got a decision loss.

Obviously you've only seen the last 2-3 fights of Hatton's which is probably the reason for your complete ignorance on Ricky's boxing abilities.

hatton used to be a better boxer, but right now both guys technique is ass. I hate hatton's style right now.

There was nothing wrong with Hatton's style against Mayweather or Lazcano. He didn't do a lot of holding but I think his opponents have started to hold him so he doesn't eat them on the inside.
