Who is the better BOXER? Mayorga or Hatton.

I wouldn't even call Mayorga a boxer so the question is pretty worthless.

Floyd got nearly knocked out to ***** town by Hatton and Floyd beat ODLH and ODLH made Mayorga his ***** so Mayorga is NOTHING but a *****!

i don't remember floyd being in any type of trouble against hatton, i don't know what fight you were watching. mayorga did do a good job of outboxing vargas so i say mayorga

He can wrestle Mayorga from here and to the end of the World, won't have any effect, at all. Mayorga would seriously destroy Hatton. Hatton brings nothing to the table that says he can beat Mayorga.

Neither has boxing technique/ability that just shines through.

I will say that each is a tough guy who can cause serious damage to their opponent.

But i honestly dont think either of them are good BOXERS to say the least.

but they both provide good excitement; especially mayorga...between the trashtalking, cigarette smoking after fights, the showboating in the ring and warriror/tough guy mentality he's great in those subjects.

That analogy is a little far fetched.. I know neither of them are known as good boxers. I'm simply asking which one is a better technical boxer even if by only a George Bush pecker of a margin. Hatton or Mayorga. It's a simple question really. I don't get why folks are having such a hard time answering it.

Watch his fight with Vargas he was actually using the ring well and working a jab and slipping.

just cause he likes to brawl before doesnt mean he has no skills.

hatton comes in with that chin out and telegraphed leaping upper cut.

Thanks for your opinion! Everyone keeps telling me this is a ****** question but I'm getting many different answers and reasons why either fighter is a more skilled boxer.

Also, let's not forget that Mayorga outboxed Forrest in the second fight.

I personally still think Hatton has a slight edge but I appreciate all the different responses.
