at 26 years old pavlik is the recognized mw champ, and has a far better resume and record than wright did at that point. where was wright at that point? he fought a bunch of no ones, and was not nearly as advanced in his career as pavlik. . u might know that if u were not so far up his ass. if winky had beat taylor and pantera u would be throwing it in everyones face. so stop the bull****. fact:winky deserves no shot till he earns it just like every 1 else fanboy! stop crying about it ffs.

Pavlik s Winky would be an outstanding matchup! I wonder we haven't heard more demand for this fight? Is Winky the most feared man in boxing?

IMO Pavlik would beat down Winky, Pavlik is in his prime right now and Winky's been out of the game too long to be as good as he was. The reason he wants an Oscar fight is just to load himself up with some more cash so he doesn't have to fight again for ages. I don't see the hunger from Winky anymore.

Winky has a good resume, but so does Roy Jones. It doesn't mean that either should be first in line for a shot at the top guy.

Pavlik is a young fighter and so his resume can only be compared to other young fighters such as Chad Dawson.

If Winky KO'd someone every once in a while , some people may acually want to see him. I cant stand his fights anymore. I dont want him to fight anyone. All he does is makes a good fight on paper boring.
