Yeah, it's sad man! No wonder he still wants to fight. He should never have to fight or worry about money again.

        Greedy ****ers!

Look and tyson, Holyfield, and countless other boxers who have given thier blood sweat and tears just to end up broke and brain damaged. Yea he fought all comers but god damn look where hes ended up. Just some food for thought when people bash boxers who are actually smart with thier money and see boxing as a means to future success in other industries. Thats how its done. You can box till ur about 34 then what??? People say whos that guy as they pass them by on the street or in a hardware store. Situations like this make it all to clear that people box as a job, as a means for income. People bring up the great ray robinson and say how he fought almost 200 fights. You know why???? because he would have been broke otherwise. Yes he took pride in what he did, but when it came down to it he fought for money to put food on the table and a roof over his head. Anything more is a golden extra topping.
What you say is very true. But....why the hell does Holyfield think he needs a $10 million estate?? It doesn't say that it's a producing farm or anything like that, just an "estate". These guys all have financial and investment advisors, they're not wandering around with pockets full of money wondering what to do with it. So..........

Theestimated $100 mill is a very concervative estimate.

                  "one Eyed Trouser Snake"

Looks like Evander's been bitten by the ol' one eye trouser snake...deadliest snake in the world!! He was a great champ but a womaniser and its cost him.
Poor bastard...have a six rounder with Tyson...he could use the money too!!
Cant believe im saying this but I would actually buy the fight if it had a resonable undercard...people still want to see this **** lol!!
Im sure they would get ten or twenty mil each??? if that cant get them outta the **** for a while I dont know what can!!

None of us know if what is being reported regarding Holyfield being broke is accurate or based on truth. It could simply be a rumor. I have a hard time believing the story because Holyfield has few vices outside of an insatiable appetite for women and sex. So what if the guy has nine children, he has made more than enough money in his career to support all of them. I've heard that Holyfield is not the most altruistic person and hardly gives money away to charity, his siblings, or extended family. I just don't buy into the idea that he is broke.
