Does this mean we're going to see Holyfield/Tyson 3 or Holyfield/Haye?

Holyfield Headed To The Poor House...

contestant Evander Holyfield is on his way to the poor house! Money comes and…
      Money goes!
According to reports, his Georgia estate is under foreclosure.
The home worth an estimated $10 million is set to be auctioned by a bank on July 1.
One of his babymommas also claims that he's missed two child support payments ($6K).
The boxer has reportedly declined to comment on the child-support allegations and the foreclosure.
      Sad.
Holyfield made multimillions in the ring and some bucks on the ABC show.
Is he a victim of the economic downturn or money mismanagement?
Good luck sorting this shiz out, E!

And to think that a vasectomy only costs about $300...

This particular blog looks like a decent piece of trash. It paints a negative image of Holyfield as a man on his way to the poor house yet have no real specifics on his financial situation.

There are no credible citations (the link they provided http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/...in4156346.shtm is an invalid link).

What is the redeeming quality of the blatant negativity?

I don't get it, don't these people have at least an once of plain and basic common sense? they make a living out of getting hurt in the ring and go through so much training and pain to earn their bread yet at the end when they hang the gloves they are so deep in financial problems they don't have even a dollar on their name. It's sad but freaking ****** at the same time, these guys have made MILLIONS of dollars and they somehow just waste it all, don't they got money advisors or people that can counsel them on how to properly invest or save all their money? man that **** pisses me off, I have heard stories of people who have won the lottery, spend all those millions in less than a year and end up homeless on the streets, incredible.

when i seen that like documentery on holyfield on espn several years back
i had to smirk. you got this gentleman going head over heels into being cured of all the evil ways with being born again. and the id**t turns into a baby factory, keeps his wife barefoot and pregnant. he deserves what he gets!!!

It never ceases to amaze me how many boxers get in money troubles...What is so hard to understand about hiring a financial advisor??

This sucks no wonder Evander has still been fighting. Unfortunately he might just have to keep fighting to earn money. He obviously needs to stop though.

Back to the ring again for Evander...

Perhaps he could fight Shannon Briggs...

I remember Larry Holmes saying Holyfield should just say he's still fighting for money. Guess having like 30 kids the child support starts to add up, pretty pathedic considering how much money he made.
