I soooo agree on the bold. People **** on Ruiz all the time, but he was effective and a smart fighter, sure he was boring and limited, but he did what he have to do. I wonder what would have happened if your nickname () didnt change his style of fighting back in 96

nah......it's cool. i know a lot of guys try to tweak numbers and stuff. i really try to be objective or at least reasonable...... at least until it comes to discussing my chowin' samoan , then i turn nuthugger.

he was a pretty good prospect. he threw tons of punches back then mostly jabs though. i remember when tua was gonna fight him i did some research on him and saw how many jabs he throws and was like...... "tua is gonna have a hard time....." then watched the fight and was like , "omg. tua is god!" ha ha ha

if he didn't change his style he would've been more exciting. i don't know if evander would pick him as an "easy win" though...... getting that undeserved title match changed ruiz's career.

i have never seen roy jones throw a combo as beatiful as mayweather did in round 6 vs gatti, and i mean from his stance to how he threw the left hook to his body to begin the combo. his body positioning was just perfect, and he landed punches that only rare fighters could land and make it look as naturally thrown as a fish swims, which is why larry merchant claimied that floyd fights as naturally as a fish swims. his skillset and mindset is that sharp. and he didn't throw a single sloppy punch at gatti. his punches were thrown brilliantly throughout the whoe fight.

not much. same as the past few years.

the big names don't want to risk fighting him and the up and comers are too much risk for tua for the same money as he'd get fighting bums. i don't blame him one more loss and he's done.

he's just trying to get as many low risk fights to keep his weight down until hopefully he can get one last big money fight. i don't understand why wlad or peter or haye don't take him on. he's a great name and low risk now. i can see peter losing to him (maybe) but i just don't see how haye or any other top 10 guy can. he's was past prime and maybe his power isn't even there anymore.

thank you for your feedback, but you have got to be on something kid, i'll leave it at that for now, but trust me, you will recieve another response from me pretty soon. i will argue against many of your choices, trust me. the floyd mayweather that fought gatti, roy jones jr has never looked that great against someone like floyd did that night, and i'll give more examples of each fighter's skillsets later, but for now i thank you for your feedback, but in no way will you get away with the responses you gave me, even though it's your opinion.
