Instead he took the GUARENTEED fight with Wiliams and the payday and kept his belt.

Tony will win the fight. Not cuz he's the better boxer, clearly he ain't even close. He's just tougher, busier, and stronger than Cotto. Cotto's never faced anybody wit a body attack to match his own and that's gonna be a factor. Tony's a punchin machine, but not like Joe C, Ouma, or Williams. He throws a ****load of punches that have mustard on em. He rarely gets hurt and he don't get tired in fights either. Cotto might be able to take a close decision, but I doubt it. This is the kinda war where the tougher guy wins, and that's Margarito. Comin back to win against Clottey after the punishment he took early shows what Tony is made of.

How can anyone think that Margarito can beat Cotto is beyond me. Margarito's defense is horrible he can't slip a punch and his body completely open. He squares himself up when he throws combinations and can easily be countered. He is slow and throws a lot of punches with nothing on them.

Clottey beat him the **** out of him for the first four rounds and Margarito/Cotto is going to look like the third round over and over again until Margarito can't take no more and goes down.

margs was coming off a layoff and didn't have his timing............and he still won..........and there are people out there who say, how on earth can you root for cotto when margs is too tall and long, and hits too hard for cotto....????.........this fight with clottey showed a lot, and a little........of margs............

Clottey is a tough durable guy, never been rocked by anyone that I know of. Cotto is 5'7 and has been rocked off and on. Tony knows how to put a hurtin on a guy.

Now Marg has been rocked, but by guys taller then he is and he's like 5'10/5'11 and it was at 154 when he got thumped.

You seriously can't be surprised if Tony wins this fight before 12.
